On the island of Vidrey, the mighty godspear trees grow. Every year, the eldest godspear is harvested, its lumber traded for needed supplies with the inhabitants of the distant land of Azazura. When it’s discovered the godspear are in peril and the livelihood of the island is threatened, action is taken to preserve the island and its ways.Ralm Willowsong, reluctant overseer of Vidrey, must travel to Azazura and seek help saving the godspears, but when he arrives, he finds the land a much different place than he’d imagined. And godspear is at the root of it all.
